Houses

At Charlton House our children are allocated a house, St Michael, St Margaret or St Milner. These represent three local saints. Our houses help to promote a sense of belonging, teamwork, and healthy competition. They encourage students to work together across different year groups, build school spirit, and develop social and leadership skills. Our house system also helps to reinforce our school values and provide opportunities for celebrating effort and achievement beyond academics.

Houses Captains

House captains are voted for at the beginning of the school year as part of democracy week. Children learn about the British value of democracy whilst they 'run' for their place as house captain and vote for each other. Captains then represent their team in sporting and academic events throughout the year.
