Personal, Social, Health and Economic (PSHE) and Relationships and Sex Education (RSE)
At our school, we believe that PSHE and RSE are vital in helping children grow into healthy, confident, and responsible individuals. Through a carefully planned and age-appropriate curriculum, we equip pupils with the knowledge, skills, and values they need to navigate the world around them, build positive relationships, and make informed choices about their well-being and future. We follow the Ten:Ten Life to the Full programme, a faith-based scheme of work that aligns with statutory guidance while nurturing pupils' moral, spiritual, and emotional development. Where necessary, we supplement this core programme to ensure full coverage of the statutory requirements and to reflect the needs of our school community. Our PSHE and RSE teaching supports children in understanding themselves and others, promotes respect and empathy, and fosters resilience and self-esteem — preparing them not just for the next stage in their education but for life.
